I was always the bookworm, the artist, the writer, the dreamer. I never thought I’d be the one drooling over spreadsheet formulas and data reports, but here we are! Everything clicked when I realized that you create systems and strategies. All of the elements of a plan are the media you use to paint the bigger picture - the vision of the company.
In 2016 I left a 13 year career in education to co-found a start-up company that would help adults learn useful life skills. Incredibly, it went viral in international media within only a few months of launching. The quick success of the company called for me to learn new skills at lightning speed. It was an immersion class in business operations and I soaked it all in. I went on to support my experience with certifications in digital marketing, PR strategies, and business development. I’ve since worked in B2B marketing for a Fortune 500 company, I’ve consulted in marketing and operations, and founded more start-ups. I owned and operated a PR agency that won the Distinguished Business Award.
